Merry Christmas ..... Ya filthy animal

I am so grateful for family, tis the season!

Kigan and I were so excited for Riley, Meghan & Owen to visit us for Christmas. They arrived Christmas Eve, in which I had no idea!! It was such a fun supprise! Best Christmas supprise ever! We love them and are so grateful they could take the time to drive to D.C. and spend time with us. We had a wonderful week taking in the Christmas spirit.

This is our tree pre-arrival of Riley, Meg and Owen.

All decked out and ready to go...it was so fun to fill stockings and arrange the gifts.

Christmas Day was filled with love and joy from our families. We took the time to give thanks to our Savior who was born with love and sacrifice for us. Giving us the gifts of love, charity, sacrifice....and many more. We had a peaceful day.
One of my favorite parts was Owens face as he opened each gift...It was priceless! His excitement and joy was so contagious!

We were able to skype with our families in Utah, Who we miss so much! It was fun to see them, and be able open our packages with them. The best gift so far was the ugly sweaters....which Kigan and I have yet to wear. Haha... Photo coming soon.....

We visited the zoo lights ::

Went to The National Harbor::

They may or may not look like aliens...and then my phone died.

Thanks Riley, Meghan and Owen for coming to visit us! We love you guys....

Merry Christmas

Cleaning house

    Soooo delay post::

Pregnancy announcement, a little bump, and baby reveal party!

It's been a busy last few months, moving back to D.C., from spending a much need summer vacation in Utah. That I have no complaints about. Golfing, rock climbing, family time, hardly working and makin a baby haha

So we found out we were pregnant mid way through July. Suprise!! Looks like our little babe couldn't wait any longer. We are so excited to meet him!

We went to Kentucky for Thanksgiving to be with family and have our reveal party. Mom and dad came out as well, much needed family time.

Our reveal party was so fun! Nobody knew what we were having, Kigan and I had know idea. We took the envelop to a baker, and had them bake our cake. And celebrated on Saturday after thanksgiving. Family came over to play and see us cut the cake.... And we cut the cake....and the blue ombré shined bright! Kigans reaction was priceless. One of my most timeless experiences....I loved every second.

Names have been a real vice. We keep going back and forth, but our result seems to be when we meet the little sea monkey we will have a better idea. We have out list and now we wait....on the down hill now. Only 15 weeks left!

So that means we are at 25 weeks The baby is the size of a cauliflower, and me this size of a soccer ball....the little guy measures about 13.6 inches to 14.8 inches and weighs about 1.5 to 2.5 pounds! He has grown rapidly in these last few weeks! Kigan felt him kick last night for the first time. So special.... And all I feel are kicks, kicks, kicks. He is so active! It's so fun to feel. Ahhh I'm so excited to meet my little Indian.

:: Peace, feathers and tangled hair ::

Today I feel two things:
One a sense of getting lost and the other imaginative…
I wish I could just put a stamp in my passport and go to my happy place where the peace sign is worn, feathers are a must...and my hair is a tangled mess.
